How a PestelPro report is built
Every report reads one country across the six PESTEL dimensions from a curated set of public statistics and researched readings. PestelPro’s analysis interprets those readings, maps how each dimension bears on the others and turns that into a SWOT you can act on. Every reading is frozen into the report the moment it is generated, so a report never changes after delivery.

What goes into a report
- Readings. Each dimension is read through a curated set of indicators, drawn from international development statistics, governance indicators and, where no dataset measures a concept directly, a bounded research pass. The selection and the source mapping are PestelPro’s own.
- How current it is. Every report carries the date and time it was generated, and every reading shows the period it reflects. Where a comparable earlier reading exists, the report shows the trend between the two. Readings refresh on a regular cycle, so a report generated today reflects the latest published figures.
- Interaction analysis. PestelPro’s proprietary analysis assesses how the conditions in each dimension push on the other five. The interaction radar and the SWOT are built from it.
- Your decision context. The purpose you give when you order shapes which relationships the report treats as most relevant.
- Gaps are shown, not filled. When no current reading exists for a location, the report says so rather than estimating.
What the AI does and does not do
The narrative is written by an AI interpretation layer that sees only the frozen readings in your report. It may not introduce figures of its own: an automated check traces every number in the narrative back to a frozen reading, and a report that fails the checks is held for human review before delivery.
It describes context and relationships. It does not score the country, rank it against others or tell you what to do.
Limits
Frequency is not validity. The indicators in this report were selected because they recur most often across 150 published PESTEL studies. Frequency of use reflects common practice among analysts, not proven predictive validity or causal importance for any particular decision.
Not a substitute for advice. This report is a research aid. It is not legal, financial, tax, investment or market-entry advice, and it does not know your business.
