Privacy Policy

This policy explains what PestelPro (operated by Lagom Tech Solutions) collects when you use pestelpro.com, why, and what you can do about it.

1. What we collect.

• Account details: your email address, and the name and organisation you choose to give us.
• Sign-in: a one-time code sent to your email, or your Google account identity if you sign in with Google. We never see your Google password.
• Report requests: the country or region you choose, the optional purpose and organisation type you enter, and the report we generate for you.
• Payment: Stripe processes your card. We receive the payment status, the last four digits of the card, and a Stripe reference. We never store full card numbers.
• Feedback you leave on a report.
• Usage: pages visited and standard technical data (browser, approximate location from IP, timing) through Vercel's analytics, which does not use cookies for tracking.

2. Why we use it.
To create your account and sign you in; to generate and deliver the reports you buy; to send transactional email (sign-in codes, delivery notices, refund confirmations); to improve the product, including reviewing feedback and which indicators and countries are requested; to prevent fraud and abuse; and to meet legal and accounting obligations.

3. AI processing.
Report narratives are drafted by an AI model provided by Anthropic. The model receives the indicator values for the country you chose and, if you entered one, the purpose you gave for the report. It does not receive your name, email or payment details. Anthropic's API terms do not permit it to train on this data.

4. Who else sees your data.
Service providers that run the product for us: Supabase (database, authentication and file storage), Vercel (hosting and analytics), Stripe (payments), Resend (email) and Anthropic (AI). Each processes data only to provide its service. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with advertisers.

5. Where data is stored.
Our database and report files are hosted in the United States. If you are outside the US, your data is transferred there to provide the service.

6. How long we keep it.
Your account, reports and orders stay while your account is open. Payment records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law require (typically 7 years). Sign-in codes expire within minutes. You can ask us to delete your account at any time; delivered reports are removed with it, except records we must keep by law.

7. Cookies.
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

8. Your rights.
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete the personal data we hold about you, and object to or restrict certain processing. Email support@pestelpro.com from the address on your account. If you are in the EU, UK or another jurisdiction with a data-protection authority, you may also complain to that authority.

9. Children.
PestelPro is for business, government, nonprofit and academic use and is not directed at children under 16.

10. Changes.
We will post changes here and update the date below. Material changes are announced by email to account holders.
