Terms of Service and Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of PestelPro, a product of Lagom Tech Solutions ("PestelPro", "we", "us"). By creating an account, buying a report or selecting "I accept" in the app, you agree to them. The Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy form part of these terms.

Terms of Use

1. What PestelPro is.
PestelPro generates an evidence-based PESTEL (Political, Economic, Social, Technological, Environmental, Legal) report for a country or region you specify. Reports are built from a validated, consensus-based indicator catalog, sourced from public datasets and researched readings, and interpreted using AI. A report is a research aid intended to give you, in minutes, a starting analysis that would otherwise take a trained analyst days to assemble.

2. Who may use PestelPro.
PestelPro is intended for business owners, entrepreneurs, investors, consultants, students, policy analysts and similar users conducting market or country research. You must be able to form a binding contract to purchase a report (that is, be of legal age and legal capacity in your jurisdiction).

3. How reports are generated.

1. You select a country or region.
2. The system retrieves current values for each core indicator from PestelPro's curated set of public and researched sources.
3. An AI interpretation layer drafts a narrative for each PESTEL dimension and an overall summary from the retrieved data only.
4. The system compiles and delivers the report as a web page in your account and a PDF.

4. Report limitations. Please read before relying on a report.

• Frequency is not validity. The indicators used in a report were selected because they recur frequently across published PESTEL analyses. That reflects common usage, not proven predictive validity or causal importance for your specific decision.
• Not every indicator has a clean data source. Some indicators (for example GDP growth) map to a direct, numeric public dataset. Others (for example government priorities, the statutory law framework or cultural norms) do not have a clean quantitative source and are presented as proxy or qualitative readings, clearly labeled as such, with correspondingly lower confidence. Where no source covers a location, the report says the indicator is unavailable rather than guessing.
• A report is a starting point, not a final answer. It is a fast, evidence-grounded first pass, not a substitute for professional legal, financial, tax, investment or market-entry advice. Consult a qualified professional before making a material business decision based on a report.
• Data lag. Public datasets update on their own, sometimes irregular, schedules. Every indicator value in your report shows the period it reflects, and a report is only as current as its underlying sources at the time it was generated.

5. Accounts, purchases and payment.
You need an account to buy a report. Keep your sign-in method secure; you are responsible for activity under your account, and each account is for one person. Reports are sold per report, priced in US dollars and paid through Stripe. Payment authorizes us to begin generating your report immediately.

6. Refunds and satisfaction.
PestelPro reports are digital information products. Once a report is generated, its contents are disclosed to you, and because the document can be downloaded we have no way to guarantee a full or complete return of the information provided. For this reason:

• Downloaded reports are nonrefundable. Once a report has been downloaded, printed to PDF, exported in any form or shared through a share link, it is not eligible for a refund, except as described under System errors below.
• Partial refund for dissatisfaction. If you are not satisfied with a report you have viewed but not downloaded or shared, you may request a refund of fifty percent (50%) of the purchase price. Your request must be received within three (3) hours of the report being delivered, using the refund link on the report page or by emailing service@pestelpro.com with your order number, and must say briefly why. Requests not received within three (3) hours of delivery are forfeited, and the report is no longer eligible for a dissatisfaction refund. When a refund is approved, your access to the report ends.
• System errors. If your report does not generate because of a system error, or if more than twenty-five percent (25%) of the report's core indicators are missing, PestelPro will refund one hundred percent (100%) of the purchase price. This applies regardless of whether the report has been downloaded or the three (3) hour window has passed, and overrides all other refund limitations in these Terms.
• No other guarantees. We do not offer a 7-day or other time-based money-back guarantee.

7. Acceptable use.
You agree not to: resell or redistribute PestelPro reports as your own original research without attribution; use the service to attempt to extract, scrape or reverse-engineer the underlying indicator catalog or source mappings beyond what is disclosed in a delivered report; attempt to access other customers' reports, or probe or overload the service; or use the service in a way that violates applicable law.

8. Changes to the service.
PestelPro's indicator catalog, source mappings and report format may be updated as underlying research is revised or public datasets change. Reports are versioned, so a report generated at a point in time can be traced to the indicator definitions in effect when it was generated. Reports already delivered keep the catalog version they were generated with.

9. Termination.
PestelPro may suspend or terminate access to the service for violation of these Terms of Use, including accounts used for abuse, fraud or resale of reports.

Terms of Service

1. Service description.
PestelPro is a report-generation service, not an advisory, consulting or professional-services firm. Purchasing a report does not create an advisory relationship, fiduciary duty, or attorney-client or accountant-client style relationship between you and PestelPro or Lagom Tech Solutions.

2. Data attribution and third-party data.
Reports are built from public datasets and researched sources. These datasets remain the property of their original publishers; PestelPro credits them as their licenses require (for example, World Bank data is used under CC BY 4.0) and does not claim ownership of, or re-license, the underlying third-party data. PestelPro's indicator selection, source mapping and interpretation method are proprietary. You are responsible for complying with any usage terms a publisher attaches to its data if you use that data beyond the scope of your PestelPro report.

3. AI-generated content and your license to use a report.
The narrative interpretation in each report is generated by an AI system from the retrieved indicator data, under a defined interpretation protocol. When you buy a report you receive a non-exclusive, perpetual license to use it inside your organization, including quoting it in internal documents, business plans, grant applications and coursework with attribution to PestelPro. You may not resell a report, offer it as part of a paid service, publish it in full, or use it to train a machine-learning model.

4. Disclaimers.
PESTELPRO REPORTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS," FOR INFORMATIONAL AND RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY. PESTELPRO MAKES NO WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AS TO THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS OR FITNESS OF ANY REPORT FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. See "Report limitations" (Terms of Use, section 4) for the specific limitations that apply to every report. We aim to deliver reports within minutes but do not guarantee delivery times or uninterrupted availability.

5. Limitation of liability.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PestelPro's total liability for any claim connected with a report or the service is limited to the amount you paid for that report. We are not liable for decisions made in reliance on a report, or for indirect or consequential loss.

6. Governing law and dispute resolution.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA, and disputes are subject to the courts there, unless the law where you live gives you rights that cannot be excluded.

7. Privacy.
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why. It forms part of these terms.

8. Changes to these terms.
PestelPro may update these Terms of Service and Terms of Use from time to time. Material changes will be noted with an updated effective date, and you will be asked to accept the updated terms before you continue to use your account.
